Proprietary firms often charge lower commissions and fee's compared to retail brokerage platforms.
Initial costs are relatively low, Since the only cost to pay is the evaluation fee / activation fee once funded.
Reduced Risk
You are only paying a set price to take an evaluation (Hit the profit target without hitting the loss limit) and if you pass, you are guaranteed funding, from there you keep 100% of the first $10,000 you make.
If you fail a funded account and lose the firm money, you don't pay for any of that (the firm does). You will need to start a new evaluation if you wish to be funded again.
